According to recent Forrester research, 55% of IT leaders responsible for device management consider the adoption of predictive analytics a high priority to be able to assess device performance, health, and security. This growing cohort of IT leaders has become laser-focused on lowering their endpoint protection costs via centralized reporting features. Although the free edition of Windows Defender offer is a powerful antivirus engine, it does not include built-in, centralized reporting
To address this need, HP has integrated Defender insights into the core Proactive Security analytics framework. The Windows Defender Endpoint Protection report allows customers to get a detailed view of fleet and device-level protection status and threat activity via their TechPulse dashboard. Customers can now get more value from the free Windows Defender solution, and simultaneously gain the benefits of HP’s advanced endpoint AI, application isolation and password theft protection features. This enables customers to simplify their endpoint security stack by eliminating legacy antivirus solutions, while retaining the enhanced protection and full-fleet analytics they need to get the most out of their security investment.
